The accident took place while the actor was on his way to Bhuj on Tuesday for his upcoming movie "Hume Tumse Pyaar Kitna". The trio and the driver had a miraculous escape after sustaining minor injuries. Hence the shooting was cancelled, and, Karan with Priya and sister Meenakshi returned to Mumbai. The accident happened in morning at 7am near Bharuch in Gujarat, according to Mumbai Mirror.

"With the grace of God there are no injuries except for a slight back pain due to the sudden jerk". It happened around 7 am near Bharuch in Gujarat when a speeding truck coming from the opposite direction caused their vehicle to lose control. "The speed of the auto was roughly 90-95 kms/hr, as I had asked my driver to not drive above 100kms/hr". The vehicle is completely smashed and it's a miracle we survived. My only advice to all the young drivers out there that please don't drive at night. We may be great drivers, but we cat be sure of the other person. "We were actually going to shoot just the title track of the movie and that is all that is left for the film to complete", the statement further said. The movie is a work of fiction sans a political agenda or an attempt to grab some attention, says Karanvir Bohra on his film. Karanvir plans to resume shoot from next week. It is a simple story which is made to create a different content for the audience. We wish him a speedy recovery.
