Chelsea's Diego Costa remains a target for several Chinese Super League clubs after Tianjin Quanjian failed in their attempts to secure a January move for the striker, Goal understands.

However, Spain global Costa has talked up his understanding with Hazard, who has scored 14 Premier League goals and recorded five assists this season.

Although the Belgian is linked with a £100m move to Real Madrid in the summer, Costa has stated that playing alongside Hazard brings the best out of him and hopes the pair are team-mates next season.

Reports from the same paper had said that the Real superstar was ready to depart the La Liga giants if the club chose to try and land Hazard and Antoine Griezmann from Real's bitter city rivals Atletico, with the 31-year-old concerned that he would be replaced as the main man in Madrid if either player joined Real's cause.

Costa said in the London Evening Standard: "Playing with Eden is something attractive".

Having scored 14 goals in the English top flight in the first half of the season, Costa has found the net just three times since the turn of the year, and admitted he hoped to rejoin Atletico Madrid before the start of this term.

"At every moment I know when he is going to pass the ball to me and I also know when he wants the ball from me to complete the move". He is a lovely person, a humble guy.
