Windows 10 Creators Update is finally here and now's your chance to say goodbye to a faulty operating system (OS) and welcome a new one.

According to Gadgets, the Windows 10 Creators Update for PC brings the previous version with a few enhancements here and there.

When Microsoft announced that it will be hosting an event on May 2, everyone thought it might unveil the Microsoft Surface 2 or Surface Pro 5.

"Starting with the April 2017 Cumulative Update release, devices with an AMD Carrizo DDR4 processor running Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 might start to receive a message that the processor is not supported with those versions of Windows".

On top of the Update Advisor app removal, some Windows 10 Mobile users are now saying that the Windows Insider app has lost most of its functionality. There's literally no serious competition for Chromebooks in that segment at the moment, and we're hoping that the Windows 10 Cloud devices from Microsoft - and then OEMs - will give Chromebooks a run for their money.

In addition to adding these new Windows 10 Creators Update features, Microsoft will publish the different types of data it collects in an effort to be more transparent.

Windows RT basically looked like Windows at first glance but didn't really work like it at all. All in all, Windows RT was an ambitious project but ultimately a failure. The new device will be affordable mid-range device featuring Windows Cloud.

Windows 10's own browser has suffered in the past few years, not least from its unfortunate association with Microsoft's bad Internet Explorer. For instance, users may not be able to run apps that aren't available in the Windows Store. Recent rumors pointed at a possibility of a CloudBook device for the students.

Windows Cloud will provide an alternative to Google's Chromebook, which threatens the Windows OS and automatically ties users to Google's cloud. It is Windows 10 Cloud, a lightweight version of their latest operating system. Rumors indicate that it could run on an ARM processor and this theory makes sense since Microsoft teamed up with Qualcomm late previous year to give ARM another shot. Sources suggest it could get powered by an ARM processor, given the fact that the Redmond giant joined hands with Qualcomm previous year to build ARM-based processors. For now, nothing is officially confirmed but we should hear more as Microsoft will host the event in NY in just a few week's time.

More broadly, Microsoft is believed to be working on a large overhaul of the Windows shell and appearance. Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
