Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata is set to meet representatives of Milan to discuss a transfer this summer, it has been reported.

La Gazzetta dello Sport, claim Milan lead the race to sign the Spaniard as they are allegedly hoping to use around £52m of their £130m budget to lure Morata to the San Siro.

'Our finishing has not been at the same level as the football we showed.

"We already know what we want in the transfer market, but so do other teams".

"Morata is a very strong player, just like [Andrea] Belotti, [Nikola] Kalinic, [Moussa] Dembele, [Romelu] Lukaku, Diego Costa and [Pierre-Emerick] Aubameyang", Montella told Tuttosport. So, in front of goal, we must do more in terms of quality.

The Spanish striker has been heavily linked with moves to Chelsea and Manchester United this summer, despite only re-signing with Real Madrid last season.

Morata, who still has four years left to run on his contract in the Spanish capital, is said to be threatening to stay put if a move to Stamford Bridge can't be agreed on.

However, the 24-year-old hitman has other plans, and according to the source, Morata he has an "unsigned agreement" with Chelsea. I provide the team with the basics, i.e 4-3-3.

For now, though, Morata will be concentrating on Real Madrid's Champions League final clash with his former club Juventus.
