Durant orchestrates win as hapless Jazz face the music

Curry registered 23 points on a subpar 6-of-20 shooting night. K.D. had a big night offensively.

Golden State Warriors' Andre Iguodala, right, celebrates with Kevin Durant (35) after he scores against the Utah Jazz in the second half during Game 3 of the NBA basketball second-round playoff series Saturday, May 6, 2017, in S. Golden State trailed for the first time this series in Game 3 and was behind by nine in the third quarter. But Gobert missed both free throws and, with under a minute and the Warriors up 10, it already felt over. The Warriors matched their postseason low with only seven turnovers and had zero after halftime.

"There's a lot of things we can do better and we have to continue to think that way or get more of a thirst to want to play ideal", Warriors forward Andre Iguodala said.

Draymond Green was 7-of-13 from downtown in the first two meetings.

"It's definitely encouraging", he said after his team's loss on Saturday night.

With a 3-0 series lead, the Warriors have all but secured a berth in the Western Conference Finals. "I knew my knee was just locking up a little bit", Green told reporters. In truth they were more than "comfortable" victories, as the Jazz never really challenged and there was never a sense that they could actually win. "Just stay completely present".

Moments later, he was hit with a technical from the bench for his continued shouting at the refs. In 2016, Green got a retroactive Flagrant 1 for throwing Houston's Michael Beasley to the floor in the first round. I said Bennie that's BS.

What is left for the Jazz to play for? It was their first lead of the series.

The Warriors built up a 12-point lead in the fourth and were able to hold on and win the game 102-91. If this is the Durant that's going to be coming out the rest of the way, then it's scary to think that Golden State might very well reach another level.

Hayward scored 33 points, a career best against the Warriors, and made 11 of 21 shots.

All-Star point guard Kyle Lowry says he's doubtful to play for Toronto on Sunday in Game 4 of the Raptors' Eastern Conference semifinal series against Cleveland.

After failing to hang onto double-digit leads in the first two games in Boston, the Wizards avoided a letdown on their home court. "We're going to have to try to take that and move forward with it".

The hosts stretched their lead to as many as nine in the third quarter before the Warriors reasserted themselves.

But hey, you know what word rhymes with "scuffle?" That was the guy that the Warriors needed tonight, with the other stars struggling.

"There have been a couple of times he has come in to our coaches meetings for an hour or so". The 28-year-old scored 38 points on 15-of-26 shooting and added 13 rebounds as well. He finished Game 3 with 21 points on eight shots and a game-high 15 rebounds. Stephen Curry had 22 points to lead a balanced attack. The two squared up on one another and had to be separated.

The Warriors got a lot of quality offense having Gobert's man set a screen for Durant with the ball, because the Utah defense calls for Gobert to play back off the ball.
