"When we start getting good, that's when Cleveland and LeBron will start going down", Embiid said Tuesday, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. The Process certainly shot his shot, too.

When asked after Tuesday night's NBA Draft Lottery in NY if he's looking for a contract extension this summer, Embiid made a face indicating he didn't like the question and declined to comment.

Wearing a bright red suit, Embiid took the stage for a Michael Smith/Jemele Hill segment to promote their edition of SportsCenter called The Six. Philadelphia received a top-three draft pick for the fourth straight year by virtue of being able to swap picks with the Sacramento Kings.

With the quartet of Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid, Dario Saric and Jahlil Okafor now leading the way for the 76ers, it appears that the once heralded franchise is finally headed in the right direction. "He's a great kid and a great player and we're going to see how he fits with this group".

Last season, the 76ers finished the year with the fourth-worst record in the entire National Basketball Association, thanks to a mark of 28-54.

Embiid played in 31 games this season, averaging 20.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game, before his season was cut short by a torn left meniscus. "I should be back on the court in about two or three weeks", said Embiid.
