With the diggers due to arrive at White Hart Lane on Monday, the 118-year-old stadium will not remain standing for much longer, but Pochettino said he had not managed to get his hands on any souvenirs.

The Full Time Devils interviewed a selection of United fans leaving White Hart Lane following Sunday's contest and the consensus was pretty clear - Mourinho is yet to learn what the club's fans expect from their team.

The Lane has been graced by such Spurs greats as Jimmy Greaves, Steve Perryman and Glenn Hoddle and it was fitting that Kane, emblem of their exciting current side, should be their final goal-scorer there.

The club have wasted absolutely no time in tearing down the stadium after yesterday's emotional farewell ceremony.

Tottenham hope to occupy their new stadium in 2018-19 - which means home games next season will take place at Wembley. This has really made them a formidable force and they are favoured to score first at (1.60) with Bet9ja.

United have unhappy recent memories of a farewell match at a venerable London venue. "For now it is to say to the fans and everyone that we will give our best and try to fight again next season to try to win the league".

United went 14 games without defeat at the Lane before last season's 3-0 loss, but gone are the days when their former manager Alex Ferguson could dismiss Spurs' threat with a disdainful: "Lads, it's Tottenham".

While Tottenham rejoiced, it was a sobering day for United who are now likely to finish sixth in Jose Mourinho's first season in charge - a place below where they finished under Louis van Gaal last season.

"But obviously, like we did against Arsenal, we didn't throw the match away". The preparation of the game, the game, we played well and we got the three points. It has been an awesome stadium for us, especially this season having gone unbeaten.

"We're just excited to take the next step, take the next challenge and that is going to be even more hard next year".

Us too, Poch. Us too.
