Manchester United looking to beat Chelsea to Radja Nainggolan

Manchester United have set their sights on Roma star Radja Nainggolan this summer in an effort to add strength to their midfield.

It was reported earlier in the season by Gianluca Di Marzio that Jose Mourinho was keen on securing the Belgian's signature alongside Fabinho and Toni Kroos.

Chelsea are one of a number of teams who are said to be considering an approach for the in-demand 29-year-old, and it appears that United have shown a willingness to enter the race.

Chelsea were linked with making £34 million move for the 29-year-old last summer before he eventually chose to stay in Rome, but the newly crowned Premier League champions have reportedly rekindled their interest this summer.

However, the player has had a rather controversial career to date, which saw Real Madrid and Barcelona back off from pursuing the player after showing interest in him initially.

Manchester United have reportedly become the latest club to show an interest in Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan. "That's all I can say".

The Belgian midfielder has been a long term target for the newly crowned Premier League champions and has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge during the last two transfer windows. A lot of my team-mates play there.

Nainggolan played for Piacenza and Cagliari before joining Roma in 2014 for £7.7m. It's the best league in the world.

Nainggolan has had yet another excellent year with Roma, contributing 14 goals and six assists in all competitions. I am having a good season.
