Like the OnePlus 5 is turning out to be, it looks like the Galaxy S8 buyers are going to regret their purchase.

A Chinese reseller named Geekbuying has revealed what it says are the actual specs for the upcoming OnePlus 5. The device already popped up on Geekbench, while some third-party Chinese resellers also listed the device prior to its announcement, like GearBest, for example. While the exact date is unknown, it is not the only information we have about this phone. The phone will stick to a 5.5-inch screen, but the resolution will get upgraded from 1080p to Quad HD (2,560 x 1,440 resolution).

On the other hand, the Microsoft Surface Phone is reportedly expected to come with a 5.7-inchd display with Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 835 SoC. Storage-wise, the Microsoft Surface Phone will pack a 3GB RAM option along with a 32GB ROM. For instance, the OnePlus 3 had a huge RAM of 6 GB and this is not yet equaled by numerous big manufacturers around the world even today. The native storage of the phone is mentioned as 64 GB.

For cameras, the OnePlus 5's said to have a 23-megapixel shooter on the back and a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front. If this will be the case, there is a high probability that it will sport a 23MP back camera and a 16MP front-facing one. As for the rumored battery size of 4000 mAh, it is also known that OnePlus always gives ample consideration to users' wishes, so it would be very much in the company's character and precedent to create a thicker device that houses a juicier or heavier battery, to please customers. Initial reviews suggest that OnePlus 5 could offer high-end hardware with an affordable price tag. While rumors and speculations regarding both the devices have been on for quite some time, here's a quick comparison between the two smartphones to check which one seems to win. Thi is larger than the one of the Samsung Galaxy S8, so the battery life of the Oneplus flagship killer should be better than the one of the Galaxy flagship. Buyers who are looking forward to purchasing a flagship phone should wait for the launch of OnePlus 5 which is expected to launch and hit the markets by June or July to make the right buying decision.
