Pirates right fielder Gregory Polanco was carted off the field at PNC Park on Monday after injuring his right ankle against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Now it seems likely Polanco will miss more time after his sixth-inning collision with the right-field outfield wall along the foul line. He was replaced in right field by Jose Osuna.

Polanco also hit the disabled list in May with a hamstring injury.

Polanco was 1-for-2 in Monday's game before exiting with his injury.

McCutchen is batting.215/.290/.398 with eight home runs, five stolen bases, and 23 runs scored in 207 plate appearances this season.

The Pirates have been without All-Star center fielder Starling Marte since April 18 when he was suspended 80 games for violating Major League Baseball's policy on performance-enhancing drugs.
