The Toffees tied up two deals earlier this week by snapping up Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and Ajax midfielder Davy Klaassen, but more additions will be needed for Ronald Koeman's side.

Arsenal are reportedly willing to sell Calum Chambers for £15 million this summer, with Everton holding an interest.

According to the Daily Mail, the Toffees are also keen on bringing in centre-back Michael Keane from Burnley, but have identified Chambers as a back-up option.

However, should the deal collapse, Everton have readied a bid for Arsenal defender Calum Chamber, who looks to be heading for the exit door due to lack of game time with the Gunners and a disappointing loan spell at relegated Middlesborough.

RB Leipzig, Bournemouth and Newcastle United are also mulling over a move, the source suggests.

The England worldwide has just spent a season on loan at Middlesbrough, where he made 26 appearances in all competitions. At £15million he is a relative bargain for someone who has proven himself in the Premier League over the course of several seasons.

Chambers is now away on global duty with the England Under-21 squad as they aim for glory in the European Under-21 Championships in Poland, and his performances in the competition may well be his last chance to show Wenger he is up for the task of playing under him this term.

Pass accuracy - Surprisingly for an Arsenal player, the 22-year-old's distribution needs work.
