Global has greenlighted Single AF, a social-first format that will help celebrities find love.

Worldwide is experimenting with cross-platform original programming with plans to launch celebrity dating show "Single AF" via social media in advance of a linear series later in the year.

The singles will look for love in unconventional ways, including by asking their followers for suggestions on who to date. "We'll be following the cast for two weeks around the world, an experience that will be captured and broadcast exclusively on digital-with content produced throughout that will make up part of the events that will unfold in the linear show later this year".

Yep, these unlikely love gurus will be joined by a selection of other random celebs including reality TV-star Farrah Abraham, Youtuber Edward Crawford and former Union J member Casey Johnson, who will take members of the public on a global tour trying to find love.

MTV knows a thing or two about dating formats, but Single AF is especially compelling because the social integrations are so integral to the show.

At the end of the two weeks of traveling the world and dating, each of the seven will take their top date to an exclusive European villa and spend time together as a group to further explore whether they have met their match.

"We're looking for cool, spontaneous people".

Global promises to dare them to look for love in unconventional ways they've never tried before.
