Hate crime reported at LeBron James' LA home

And he is doing it often.

The highly anticipated and inevitable National Basketball Association finals that we have all been waiting for has finally arrived. The Cavaliers face the Golden State Warriors in Game. It's the third title for James in seven finals appearances (three with Cleveland, four with Miami).

This is what fans wanted.

LA police were investigating Wednesday as James and the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers prepared for Thursday night's Game 1 at Golden State. And it's here where one starts to consider how much of Game 1 was Golden State playing well and the Cavs not so much.

There are a lot of great storylines heading into the series between two teams that have become very familiar with each other over the last three years, the biggest being the Warriors adding superstar Kevin Durant last offseason. He finished with nine points and 11 rebounds.

Perhaps most noteworthy, it gives Durant the chance at a first championship and validation for his decision to leave the Thunder and join the league's latest super team. Bogut only got on the court for a few minutes with the Cavs before succumbing to a leg injury - a massive shame as we'd liked to have seen him play against his old side. In my opinion, this matchup pins five of the NBA's top 15 players against each other in what should be a Finals for the ages (seven of the top 30 if you want to include Love and Thompson).

Love was especially good in the Eastern Conference finals against the? Cleveland will have to slow down a team that has been clobbering teams by 16.3 points per game in the postseason. The Cavaliers have made three 3-pointers already, but are 1 for 7 inside the arc.

James, who also maintains a home in northeast OH, and the rest of the Cavaliers are set to face the Golden State Warriors in a rematch of the last two National Basketball Association finals. However, with injured stars Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving on the bench, the Cavs lost the next three games. Kyrie Irving added 24 points on 10-of-22 shooting. Even Cleveland, with all of its talent, doesn't have enough to keep up. James, who has said he is chasing Michael Jordan's ghost, will have to be his best to beat these Warriors. "It doesn't hurt or anything like that". "I just think it's his level of calmness, no matter what's going on. So we'll see. It worked pretty well in Game 4 of last series".

Brandon Ellis: The end of the NBA season has left yet another rematch in the NBA Finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors. He's now 1-7 in Game 1 and 0-6 on the road.

The Warriors' rhythmic motion offence, with every player offering screens or cuts allowing their All Stars to score at will, has befuddled the best of defences, and it will take a strong effort from the Cavaliers to contain them.

"What happened in the past in my mind doesn't really count now unless we go out and finish the deal", he said. Then they took out their revenge in the 2014 Finals against the Heat, winning in five games.

Not to the Cleveland Cavaliers - but to Shaquille O'Neal. Golden State have reached the century mark in scoring in each of their 12 postseason games. It was odd choice considering McGee's very public spat with O'Neal three-plus months ago.

The Cavaliers' defense was a problem for most of the season. Durant also frees Curry from the constant blitzes the Cavs have thrown his way in the past two Finals.
