On the hockey field, India recorded their biggest ever win over Pakistan with a 7-1 scoreline. It was their highest margin of victory against their arch-rivals.

"It was a very good win for us not because it was against Pakistan but because we did well in the areas that had concerned us when we played the 3 Nations Invitational Tournament in Germany before coming to London", stated Manpreet. Before these, he also published a few pictures of army men celebrating with the caption "Valiant soldiers of Pakistan congrat Team Pak & Nation.United we shall defend Pak against all threats our enemies hatch" (sic). The result of the match will decide the leader of Pool B.

But he quickly added, "But our job is not finished yet". They then followed it up with a 3-0 win over Scotland and a 3-1 win over Canada. They face Canada on Monday.

India and Netherlands have been unbeaten in the Hockey World League semi-final so far. The victor of tomorrow's match between India and the Netherlands will play the fourth placed team in the quarterfinals.

"For the participation of Indian team in the Hockey World League, preparation camps were held at Sports Authority of India (SAI) Southern Centre, Bengaluru, and the entire cost was borne by the Sports Ministry".

It was quite a glorious game at the finals, Pakistan gave its best in clinching the Champions Trophy from Team India. Both the teams are new compared to 2015 and 2016 with some new additions in the squad.

"For now, we only want to focus on our match tomorrow, continue with the good momentum and stick to our plans". We wanted to get a good start and not concede any goals and at the same time convert the chances we created to put them under pressure.
