Bumrah's first three overs cost 24 runs, including four wides.

After leaving India reeling on six for two following the dismissals of Sharma and Kohli, Amir's figures read 1.4 overs, four runs, two wickets.

Pakistan bowler Hasan Ali won the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy Golden Ball award for the top bowler of the tournament.

India still better than Pakistan when it comes to overall records of ICC tournaments.

It was the culmination of an impressive tournament from Pakistan who improved as the tournament went on after their poor opener against India. Fakhar, who scored his maiden ODI century in style with a four off the 31st over, was awarded Player of the Match. He was a part of the Navy for a year and occasionally played inter-department cricket matches.

Earlier also, several times chaos has been witnessed in this area after India- Pakistan match, but this is the first time when the government has imposed restriction in the area.

Fakhar was given a reprieve when he was caught behind with only three runs to his name, but Jasprit Bumrah (0-68) over-stepped and that proved to be very costly.

Sent in to bat by India captain Virat Kohli, Pakistan's opening pair Fakhar (114) and Azhar Ali (59) put together their second consecutive century stand, motoring to 128 in 23 overs before Azhar was disastrously run-out.

The skipper had promised a solid performance against arch-rivals India after securing an easy victory over England in the first leg of the semi-final. From there Mickey Arthur's side lost some of their momentum but still finished on 338-4, leaving India by far the highest chase in a Champions Trophy final. This quickly earned him a call up to the Pakistan's ODI squad for the Champions Trophy and the rest is history. "They have been brilliant, and my fellow coaching staff and management team have been fantastic, as well", a sense of satisfaction was palpable in his voice.

Just two weeks ago India battered Pakistan in the group stages of the ICC Champions Trophy and no one gave the beaten side a chance of even making it in to the knockout stages, how wrong they were.

Junaid was introduced to the attack as he removed Jadeja who was caught by Babar Azam after he scored 15 runs. India's loss to Pakistan fumed some of the fans and the repercussions of the same became pretty evident.

"A lot of people had vibes that we might not be able to defeat India, that their batting is too strong for us to handle". Nobody believed we would win. "They proved it again, they can upset anyone on their day, disappointing for us but I have a smile on my face because we played well to reach the final", Kohli had said after the match.
