Antonio Conte led Chelsea to the Premier League 2017 title.

John Terry's Chelsea career came to an end on Sunday afternoon.

"We didn't receive one request on #yourodds on Twitter upon which we receive hundreds of requests a week". She also got the chance to hold the trophy when the families joined the players for a lap of honour after the game.

John Terry was given a mid-game guard of honour as he left the field.

But despite the flak coming his way, 36-year-old defender Terry remains unrepentant.

"Once you stop, that's it".

"But as of tomorrow, I'll try and push a lot to explain that this season could become not just great but fantastic if we are able to win the FA Cup". Everyone says, 'Play as long as you can'.

"You can't replace those butterflies before you go out and play".

"I need to get the FA Cup Final out of the way".

"Sunderland agreeing to kick the ball out on 26 minutes, I don't think anything should be done that could undermine the integrity of the game". But I'm not sure about this. Physically, I know I can.

There's a special relationship between me and the Chelsea fans. It's important for them to be learning their trade. "I love playing football and it's all I've ever known, to be honest". But the hunger is there inside me to push on and win stuff.

Chelsea responded by battering the beleaguered Sunderland goal, finishing with five - from Willian, Eden Hazard, Pedro and two by Michy Batshuayi in the dying minutes.

Terry said in a post-match interview that the substitution was his idea, but it is understood the decision was made by Chelsea boss Antonio Conte and a group of senior players.

The punter, who wished to remain anonymous, told Press Association Sport: "We thought maybe 10-1, 15-1 at most as there was a precedent set (by Drogba's substitution)". However, once Spurs move back into their impressive new home which is rapidly taking shape at the Northumberland Development Project, you wonder if it may be some while before the Gunners can once again look forward to celebrating St Totteringham's Day....

Remarkably, Kante did not win any player of the month awards from the Premier League.
