Madonna wishes herself happy Father's Day

Madonna seems to have taken a sly jab at her former partners Carlos Leon and Guy Ritchie as she shared a sarcastic message on the occasion of Father's Day.

The 58-year-old singer took to Instagram on Sunday to share a photo of herself and her six children congratulating herself because she's "the mommy and the daddy".

Sharing a photo of her dad she wrote: 'Happy Father's Day to the O.G. That gave me life!

The "Papa Don't Preach" singer shared a collage of photos on her Instagram account featuring all her children, 20-year-old Lourdes, Rocco, 16, David and Mercy, both 11, and four-year-old twins Stella and Esther, and insisted she deserved just as much recognition for what she does for her kids as male parents do. Love you for ever!' She snubbed her former husband and filmmaker Ritchie as well, who is father to her 16-year-old son Rocco.

Guy was joined in the picture by Rocco and David, and the three young children he has with his spouse, Rafael, five, Rivka, four, and three-year-old Levi. I don't care what the papers say.

In the post Jacqui wished Guy a "Happy Father's Day" saying: 'Thank you for constantly inspiring us all.

Last year, Madonna and Guy were involved in a lengthy custody battle over the teenager, who claimed he wanted to live with his father and stepmother and attend school in London, rather than with the rest of his siblings and mother in NY.

He said: "A marriage breakdown is a death".

'She's a wonderful mother and has been very good to the kids, and her new kids, the twins, will have a wonderful education and receive lots of love.
