No offer received for Ronaldo, says Real boss

"Not I nor anyone at Madrid is contemplating that Cristiano could leave the club", said Perez.

"So, unless a club is ready to pay that, he won't be leaving".

Among the clubs reported to be interested in Ronaldo is former team Manchester United for a fee which could hit 200 million euros, with a possible get-out clause of €1 billion.

"It has affected me how the media treated Cristiano; the presumption of innocence was not respected".

"I believe everyone must comply with their tax obligations, and I know that Cristiano always does things the right way".

The complaint was quickly followed by reports that Ronaldo has chose to leave Madrid ahead of next season following his tax problems, but Perez is adamant the prolific forward will only be on the move for a huge transfer fee. "I am sure it will work out fine".

Ronaldo was a world-record signing of intent from United after Perez returned as president eight years ago, the forward being part of a £225million summer spending spree that also saw the likes of Kaka, Karim Benzema and Xabi Alonso move to Real.

Ronaldo is now on global duty with Portugal at the 2017 Confederations Cup in Russian Federation.

Portuguese sports daily A Bola also claimed that Perez had already been informed of the 32-year-old's decision. "He will surely tell us and we will see what happens", the Real chief explained.

As we all know, presidents of Spanish football clubs are men of their word and there's absolutely no chance whatsoever that this situation will change before the end of August. I have no doubt that Cristiano will be able to defend himself. "If there is no concealment, there is no bad faith, and his lawyers say there has been no concealment so there is no will to cheat".

"He has broken all the records at the club, he has got three Champions Leagues in four years and LaLiga this year".
