Showers, thunderstorms possible throughout the weekend in Wyoming Valley

Hopefully any sunshine will help to brighten the day of any dads trying to enjoy Father's Day!

Sunday night will be uncomfortable with moderate to high humidity and temperatures dropping no lower than 70 degrees in spots.

Showers and thunderstorms are likely to continue into Monday, which will see a high of 83 and a low around 65.

"We have an elevated risk for damaging wind, lightning and that flooding rain", Morrin said.

Cloudy. Higher rain chance for morning/afternoon hours.

After a muggy weekend, Monday starts out muggy, too. The high will be near 86.

Any chance for rain will fade quickly during the middle of the workweek. Up to a half-inch of rain is possible.

Sunday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 84.

Tuesday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Thursday: A 40 percent chance of showers, high near 81. Cloudy, with a low around 63. Partly sunny, with a high near 83. Lows tonight should be around 5 degrees above normal. Monday is more refreshing and comfortable with temperatures a tad below seasonable averages only topping out in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees.

Wednesday will have showers and thunderstorms likely.

An isolated storm is possible over parts of northeastern AL this evening, but most areas will stay dry. Highs in the upper 80s.

Friday: A chance of showers.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 96. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent.

Mostly cloudy skies are predicted for Friday night, along with a chance of showers before 2 a.m.

Tonight: Mostly clear to partly cloudy.

Thursday Night.Mostly cloudy. Lows in the low 70s.
