NAFTA works but can be made better.

The world's leading advocate for the electronics industry says the Trump administration has an opportunity to strengthen the US and global economy as it begins work to modernize the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

Leaders from several existing Texas business and trade organizations have created a coalition to ensure that Texas gets heard during the renegotiations.

Texas benefits from NATA more than any other state.

Association Connecting Electronics Industries submitted comments to the U.S. Trade Representative on the administration's upcoming negotiations with Canada and Mexico on NAFTA.

As a candidate, Trump derided NAFTA as the worst trade deal ever and suggested scrapping it. But he's since softened, sending Congress last month formal notification of plans to simply renegotiate the pact.
