Fanatik have claimed the West Ham United have won the race for Badou N'Diaye, after having a bid of £8.5m accepted by Turkish side Osmanlıspor.

The Senegalese man has been lighting up the Turkish league with his outstanding form as he has scored a total of seven goals in midfield with an 81.2% passing success rate and an average of 2.6 tackles per game.

It is understood that, despite the strong interest that N'Diaye is attracting, West Ham are in pole position to land the eight-times Senegal worldwide, who has been on the radar throughout the last season.

N'Diaye, who has eight global caps for Senegal, was previously linked with moves to Crystal Palace and Everton [Daily Mail].

According to Sky Sports, both clubs are interested in bringing N'Diaye to the Premier League, and Osmanlispor say they have agreed a deal in principle with an English club.

Relegated Sunderland have also shown an interest in the player.

His displays earned him a permanent switch and N'Diaye went on to make another 73 appearances, scoring 25 goals in two seasons.

He has offers to move to clubs in Spain, Germany and Italy, but it is understood he is preferring to play in the Premier League.
