It's both a tongue-twister and, quite honestly, a brain-twister, but apparently, reality TV star Caitlyn Jenner says she's considering a run for the U.S. Senate from California.

"I have considered it, I like the political side of it".

'Over the next six months or so, I've gotta find out where I can do a better job. "... I would much rather convince Republicans to do better with (LGBT) issues than to try to convince Democrats to lower taxes and have less regulations and less government".

In the interview, Caitlyn Jenner indicated that she's given herself a timeline spanning half a year to determine whether she will be able to do "a better job" on the political inside or from "working the perimeter of the political scene".

"When I sit down with Republican senators, they'll tell me they've never met a trans person before and they'll mention their faith", she continued.

Despite her fame, it could be hard for Jenner to win a Senate seat as a Republican from California. "I like the political side of it", Jenner said. "That's kind of my issue".

"Can I do a better job on the outside?" Or, are you better from the inside?

"It will take awhile to change people's thinking".

In her mind, if the new generation of Republicans can create an image of acceptance while maintaining their fiscally conservative values, it'll be a huge win for the party and the country. Following her support of politicians like Ted Cruz-who has been rebuked for his regressive LGBT policies and beliefs-Jenner's politics have been called "breathtakingly clueless" in some LGBT circles.

She explained: "The perception of the Republican Party is that they are all about rich white guys trying to make money. If I believe I can't, either by health or any other way, I won't, but as long as I believe I can, I will", Feinstein said.

However, she also said that her "deal-breaker with the Republican party" was that "if you mess with my community - you don't give us equality and a fair shot - I'm coming after you". "If you can do that - if you can be socially aware of what's going on but conservatively economically [sic], I mean, that's the way to go".
