The indications that Diego Costa and Nemanja Matic might not be at Stamford Bridge looks next season more visible as the duo were both left out of the Chelsea's pre-season tour of the Far East.

It has been rumored since last Summer that the Spaniard Diego Costa felt unsettled in London.

Any Chelsea fans still harbouring hopes that Diego Costa could be a Blues star in 2017-18 must now surely admit that's never going to happen. In January it nearly pushed him for a transfer to Chinese side Tianjin Quanjian, but he finished out the year and helped the Blues secure the Premier League title.

Costa was heavily linked with a move to Tianjin Quanjian midway through last season but the Chinese Super League's transfer window has now closed. The 24-year-old Spanish global is now in Los Angles with Madrid on their pre-season tour and Zinedine Zidane is keen to keep him at the club for next season.

The Spanish striker has been heavily linked with a move to his former club, Atletico Madrid, who now have a transfer ban.

Costa is in Brazil after being given an extended break to sort out his return to the La Liga outfit.

Their No1 target was Romelu Lukaku, but the Belgium global instead opted to swap Everton for Jose Mourinho's Manchester United instead.

And yesterday Chelsea confirmed the signing of Monaco powerhouse Tiemoue Bakayoko.

Signs point to his next destination being in Italy, where he may join the Serie A champions Juventus.

Chelsea are all set to make a stunning return to the transfer market spotlight if reports in calciomercatoare to be believed.
