If rumors are to be believed, Meizu will be releasing two PRO 7 variants - the regular PRO 7 with a 5.2-inch display and a Plus variant with a bigger 5.7-inch sized display.

As the marketing hype for the Meizu Pro 7 crescendoes, we also get a lot more information on the device.

Meizu Pro 7 has been in the news for quite some time now, and after the leaks, the company has started sending invites for the announcement of the Pro 7 on 26th of July. The secondary display is certainly interesting, and we'll know more about what Meizu's plans for the device next week. The smartphone is said to come with 6GB/8GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage and will be powered by Helio X30 processor. Unlike the previous flagship MediaTek SoCs, the MediaTek Helio X30 is expected to offer comparable performance to flagship SoCs from Qualcomm and Samsung. The word "window" in the post probably refers to the secondary screen that is present at the rear panel of the Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus.

It will have a dual cameras module of 12-megapixel with Sony IMX386 + IMX286 CMOS sensor. If rumors are true, the Pro 7 will be priced at 2,799 Yuan (~$413) and 3,299 Yuan (~$486) for the 6 GB and 8 GB variant respectively.

Chinese sources added that the vehicles will retain the 3.5 mm headphone Jack. The higher end PRO 7 variant will be priced at a steep 3,799 yuan ($561). All details, including the price, will, of course, be confirmed on the 26. The front-facing camera of the PRO 7 will be of 16-memgapixel. The secondary screen supports multiple functions such as it can work as a view finder for the dual cameras, for displaying notifications, playing games, and it can even work when the smartphone is turned off.
