Destiny 2 beta starts tomorrow

There may be some issues as you participate in Destiny 2's early access and open betas.

Pre-load became available late last week, but you still have time to prepare for the beta.

PC players, you aren't being ignored. Although Bungie said that Destiny 2 will feature an expanded, deeper storyline with much tougher enemies, you'll only be able to play through the opening campaign mission during the beta, as well as one cooperative Strike and two PVP game modes: Control and the new Counter-Strike-esque mode Countdown.

The beta will be missing a few things, including clan support, all character progression and most vendors. The beta will come to a close on July 23.

The Destiny 2 beta for early access PlayStation 4 players starts tomorrow, July 18, and on Wednesday, July 19, for early access Xbox One players. Open Beta kicks off on July 20th.

The game will be released on the 6th of September.

Players may experience a variety of networking error codes when attempting to play the beta.

Location names sometimes do not appear during Crucible gameplay.

Players may sometimes be placed at the beginning of the Inverted Spire Strike Activity when joining in progress.

Not all content has been localized in all languages. Your beta is set for August, so sit tight until then.

KitGuru Says: While I will be getting Destiny 2 for the PC, I will be trying out the beta on PS4 this week just to see how it is. Are any of you planning on playing Destiny 2 when it comes out? Are you going to give the beta a chance?
