No movie studio has a more envious slate coming in the next few years than Disney.

The film will be a follow-up to the 2012 massive hit film "Wreck-It Ralph" which was centered on the eponymous video game villain and featured a massive world of animated video game characters brought to the big screen.

Disney's princess tales have been criticised by some for portraying female leads as helpless and in need of rescuing by a man, including films such as Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Snow White. Films such as fearless and Moana have seen young princesses breaking free of tradition to carve their own fate.

In the scene, the princesses - including Snow White, Jasmine, Tiana, Rapunzel, Elsa and Moana - determine if Vanellope is a princess by asking her if she has been enslaved or if she has daddy issues.

"Wreck-It Ralph 2" will follow Ralph (voiced by John C. Reilly) and Princess Vanellope (Sarah Silverman) as they step out of the video game world and enter the insane internet realm in order to search for a way to save the latter's game, "Sugar Rush". They then swap their gowns for t-shirts and sweat trousers and discuss the challenges of being flawless - Snow White shows off her thick glasses and Princess Jasmine reveals she's allergic to cats despite having a pet tiger.

Dubbed as "Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2", the announcement of the upcoming film was one of the most talked-about and most applauded during Disney's presentation at the D23 Expo, which was held in Anaheim, California last weekend.
