When the Star Wars-themed resort opens, it will debut as part of Disney's new "360 vacation concept", a completely immersive experience that includes costumes and forms of storytelling that will touch every part of the hotel guest experience, said Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Chairman Bob Chapek.

"Featuring an all-new augmented reality headset, the product was created to give Star Wars fans an opportunity to recapture some of their favorite moments from Star Wars films in ways never before possible". On the sidelines of D23 Expo over the weekend, the actors graced an interview with Entertainment Tonight where they shared their thoughts about losing someone they look up to.

Disney is building a seventh cruise ship to add to their fleet; this new addition will be built at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany. It's the same shipyard that is building the two previously announced vessels.

All ship names, design plans and itineraries are still in development, with each of the ships expected to have their own unique experiences. What is known is that the three new ships will be powered by clean-burning liquefied natural gas (LNG). Once on property, the magic and wonder of the Disney Imagineers surrounds guests. Each of the ships measures 85,000 tons and has 877 cabins.

Many trips to Disney are a childhood rite of passage. The three ships on the way will result in almost another doubling in capacity. Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy feature what are billed as the first water coasters at sea. Dubbed Magical Portholes, the circle-shaped electronic windows offer a real-time view of the sea as well as sightings of animated Disney characters.

Numerous cast members of the upcoming film Avengers: Infinity War gather at Disney's D23 Expo to debut the first footage on Saturday (July 15) in Anaheim, Calif.

Mary Poppins is back and Disney fans are going wild for the return of the stern nanny and her topsy-turvy world.
