ARSENAL star Theo Walcott is a £30m target for free-spending Everton boss Ronald Koeman.

The Toffees are eyeing a swoop for the England winger after already splashing out around £100m this summer.

Frenchman Giroud has grown frustrated at Arsenal and wants to leave due to a lack of first-team football.

He made 37 appearances across all competitions last season for the Gunners and scored an impressive 19 goals in return.

Wayne Rooney, Davy Klaassen, Henry Onyekuru, Jordan Pickford, Michael Keane and Sandro Ramirez have all walked through the door at Goodison Park so far.

Everton have been interested in Walcott before, but it seems more likely now that both the club and player would be open to a move. The 28-year-old, now with the Gunners squad in China, slipped down the pecking order last season as the Gunners season crumbled. He would be a great addition to Koeman's side and his know-how in the Premier League could see him make an immediate impact. Everton need to replace the goals from Romelu Lukaku after selling him to Manchester United and Walcott could certainly chip in with a big contribution.

It's unlikely that the French worldwide moves to Everton, but it's suggested that there could be more success in a swoop for Walcott who will want regular first-team football next season to force his way into the England squad for the World Cup.
