It's new version of an old hoax, warning friends not to accept a request from a "hacker" - in this case, "Jayden K Smith" - because it will then give them access to their personal information. He is a hacker and has the system connected to your Facebook account.

Users around the world have been getting messages saying, "Please tell all the contacts in your messenger list not to accept Jayden K. Smith friendship request". According to the Telegraph, there is no evidence of any account with that name going on friend requesting sprees nor would they be able to hack into your account just by becoming your friend. Forwarded as received. Hold your finger down on the message.

Facebook users have been circulating a warning message about a supposed hacker, but the whole thing is fake.

Meanwhile, experts warned that the only way to protect one's account or at least attempt to from hackers was to have a strong password, and not leave your one's account logged on a shared computer and to be vigilant.

This hasn't stopped the message gaining widespread traction online.
