For assembly plants, July is the usual yearly mass production time for new models of smart phones; however, now the yields of the two main iPhone manufacturers, Foxconn and Pegatron, are still not up to standard.

By Stephen Nellis, Reuters Apple plans to create a $1 billion fund to invest in U.S. companies that perform advanced manufacturing, chief executive officer Tim Cook said a few days ago, the iPhone maker's latest effort to show how it is creating USA jobs.

Most of you would be burning with uncontrolled anxiety levels in your curious brains regarding one highly talked-about question-probably of this year-"What's the release date of the new iPhone?". A third ODM Wistron will produce mainly the 5.5-inch model, noted the report. Canada Pension Plan Investment Board raised its stake in Apple by 23.2% in the first quarter. "Apple will indeed replace the horizontally aligned dual rear camera of the iPhone 7 Plus with a vertically aligned shooter on the iPhone 8".

To be clear, while DigiTimes says that the OLED iPhone has been delayed, the LCD-based 4.7-inch iPhone and its 5.5-inch counterpart have also reportedly seen their production schedules pushed out. One thing that is still unknown is whether Apple will be able to incorporate Touch ID functionality into the display in time for the iPhone 8.

To distinguish the new iPhone from the models it has released over the last three years - the 6, 6s, SE and 7 - AAPL is expected to move to an all-glass design. Interflex and Youngpoong Electronics are still expected to share the estimated 100 million RFPCB orders - with Apple shelling out to boost their capacities - but Apple is still looking for a new supplier in Korea to fill the gap. Apple iPhone 8 could be priced more than $1000 at launch, according to some reports.

It seems, at least from this report of manufacturing difficulties, that Apple has designed some difficult-to-build phones, suggesting that they are full of interesting new features and technologies.
