Nintendo reconfirms September 12th release date for Rayman

This edition contains the acclaimed game Rayman Legends - 92 metacritic on Wii U - as well as new exclusive content. Michel Ancel, celebrated creator of Rayman, Beyond Good & Evil, and the Raving Rabbids is bringing his innovative creativity to this new and exciting platform. The megapublisher will release Steep and Monopoly for Nintendo's newest console later this year, and at least one unannounced title is also in the works.

Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition will launch for Switch on September 12, Ubisoft announced. Rayman enthusiasts will be thrilled to hear that a free demo of the game will be available to play later this summer.

This version of Rayman Legends takes advantage of some of the Switch's unique features, as up to four players can play together over a wireless local connection and the game features the touchscreen support when played undocked.

Rayman, named platformer of the year and victor of multiple artistic and musical achievements, is coming to the Nintendo Switch for the first time with Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition.

Set in the enchanted world of Rayman, Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition follows Rayman and his colorful band of friends as they discover a mysterious tent filled with a series of captivating paintings. The gang must run, jump and fight their way through each world to save the day and discover the secrets of every legendary painting.
