OHP searches for witnesses to crash that left trooper in critical condition

A 30-year-old man walking on train tracks near US 75 in Okmulgee County was struck by a train and killed Saturday morning, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. I-35 was shut down most of the night due to the incident. At this time, investigators aren't sure which auto hit Meyer. The auto kept going.

She said the auto they were pursuing was stopped, and Dangelo Ladon Burgess, 28, was taken into custody.

The suspect, D'Angelo Burgess, is now facing six complaints, including eluding police, failure to stop for a road block, and causing great bodily injury while driving without a license. He is wanted for questioning and is known to have ties to the Oklahoma City area.

Officers believe that Sonny Ramirez, 39, may have critical information about the accident.

Investigators say they have found and interviewed two witnesses who were in the auto.
