Matt Klentak didn't come away with a particularly impressive trade deadline haul, but neither Hellickson nor Kendrick carried a great deal of trade value.

Your opinion matters. Take Market Connections' survey about how you consume media. And then, a half hour after the game, manager Pete Mackanin arrived later than usual for his postgame press conference. "I didn't have time to actually think about it".

Soon after the game ended Hellickson was traded to the Baltimore Orioles in exchange for outfielder Hyun Soo Kim, minor league left-hander Garrett Cleavinger and global signing bonus slots.

From Rotoworld: Teheran was tagged for four earned runs, nine hits and a walk with six strikeouts across 6 1/3 innings in a road loss Saturday against the Dodgers. As part of the deal, the Phillies will send cash to the Nationals to cover part of the $3.55 million remaining in Kendrick's $10 million salary.

Kim, 29, is a native of Seoul, South Korea. Kendrick has appeared in 24 games in left field, 10 games at second base and one at first. He was the starting pitcher in the 2010 All-Star Futures Game and later that season debuted in the major leagues. He was an 18th-round draft pick in 2014.
