Canada has recalled Orlando City star Cyle Larin for the knockout stage of the Gold Cup, where it will play for the first time since 2009.

Larin initially was left off his national team's roster following a DUI charge last month.

It will be a second presence for Larin in this competition. Larin was the only roster change for Canada after finishing second in Group A following a 0-0 draw with Honduras on Friday night. Larin replaced Toronto FC's Raheem Edwards, according to the release. Canada will face the runners-up from Group C at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on Thursday, July 20 at 10 pm.

Orlando City is closing out a two-week worldwide break and will return to action Friday to host Atlanta United FC, a game Larin will now miss.

The 16-year-old Davies, the youngest player Canada has ever called up for the Gold Cup, had scored three of its five goals. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET and coverage will be on FS1 and Univision.
