He got to Packers training camp on time, but too late to get his dorm key.

"Sleeping on the floor doesn't bother me", Bennett said, via Sports Illustrated's Scooby Axson.

Love the enthusiasm, but that can't be good for his back.

According to the Greater Green Bay Convention and Visitors Bureau and a 2010 study by AECOM, training camp, along with Packers Family Night, will attract almost 90,000 visitors from across the nation and as many as 20 foreign countries.

However, the veteran tight end pulled a rookie move when he checked in late to his dorm room for training camp.

"Just got to Green Bay not too long ago and couldn't get into the dorms, so now I'm sleeping on the floor [in front of] my locker", Bennett said in an Instagram video. "Camp life, Day one".

"Sleeping on the floor doesn't bother me. I was here late last night" McCarthy said.

Coming off a 2016 season that saw Green Bay post its eighth straight winning season and make the playoffs for a franchise-best eighth consecutive year, the Packers will begin to write this season's story in front of fans at Nitschke Field.

"You think ghosts haunting the Packers, though?" Bennett couldn't get to his assigned room, but he did have access - somewhat surprisingly - to the Packers locker room. Because I'm the only black person in this scary movie, and you know the black guy has to die. "So I need to recruit some other black guys".
