Police were hunting a suspected illegal immigrant yesterday in connection with an "unattended death" early Sunday in Milford, according to Worcester District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.

Authorities have issued a warrant for Reis' arrest for aggravated assault and battery with a risky weapon.

Jusselo Dias Dos Reis is wanted on a charge of aggravated assault and battery with a unsafe weapon following an incident on North Bow Street, the office of Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early, Jr. announced.

The body of a man was discovered inside a 42 North Bow St. apartment Sunday morning. The victim has not yet been identified by authorities.

The Milford death remains under investigation as authorities search for Dos Reis, who is 5 feet 6 inches tall, 140 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Prosecutors have asked for the public's help locating Jusselo D. Dos Reis, a Brazilian national who may be driving a black 2003 Ford Explorer with the MA license plate of 7JN55.

Dos Reis is believed to have illegally entered the United States "without inspection", the DA and Homeland Security said. They believe he is from Brazil. He lost his wallet in Milford and may be seeking replacements or using false documents, said police.

Anyone who sees Dos Reis is asked to contact Milford police at 508-473-1113 or state police at 508-829-8326.
