TalkTalk snags a new finance chief from Dixons Carphone

LONDON, July 10 TalkTalk Telecom said on Monday that Chief Financial Officer Iain Torrens intends to step down from the board later this year and will be succeeded by Kate Ferry, the current director of investor relations and corporate affairs at Dixons Carphone.

Further details will be announced in due course, the operator said.

Prior to Ferry's seven years at Dixons Carphone Ferry was a retail analyst at U.S. bank Merrill Lynch and before that, she worked as an audit manager at accountancy firm PwC.

Ferry has been with Dixons Carphone for seven years and prior to that she was a retail analyst at U.S. bank Merrill Lynch and worked as an audit manager at accountancy PwC.

She joins CEO Tristia Harrison in a new-look top team.
