All who are in any way associated with Essential Phone, including mobile operators, has announced its readiness to put this smartphone bundled with subscription contracts, keep the deathly silence, and no one except Andy Rubin, does not know what happens with Essential Phone really. For the time being, Fouché's position is being held by Essential's head of product marketing.

Andy Rubin is working with telecommunications companies around the world to launch the Essential Phone in the United Kingdom, other Western European countries, as well as Japan.

The Essential Phone may have missed its June release window in the USA, but the Essential team is reportedly pushing on with plans to expand the ambitious flagship's availability to the UK, Europe and Japan regardless.

Meanwhile, after Essential missed its initial shipping window a few weeks, ago, Niccolo de Masi, chief operating officer of the company, stated that the phone's release in the USA is "imminent". In other news, the company is reportedly in talks with British carriers on a United Kingdom launch.

The Essential Phone may have missed its soft June launch timeframe, but the company's COO says we should prepare for imminent arrival in the United States, according to Financial Times. Essential has reportedly held talks with United Kingdom networks last week to decide on a launch date and a potential exclusive deal.

Niccolo de Masi says the U.S. launch is "imminent".

The Essential Phone is still expected to launch in Canada at the end of this summer, and de Masi says the U.S. launch is "imminent".

A couple of months ago, Android co-founder Andy Rubin introduced the Essential Phone, a handset that has a near bezel-less display and modular accessories that connect to pogo pins on the rear. However, it's unlikely that the device will have enough market reach to be a threat to the two largest smartphone makers in the world. Essential COO Niccolo de Masi sat down with FT for a brief chat and revealed that bit about launch and also threw in some global plans.
