Crayola is one step closer to finding a name for its new blue crayon.

After receiving almost 90,000 submissions, Crayola somehow narrowed it down to these five choices: Blue Moon Bliss, Bluetiful, Dreams Come Blue, Reach For The Stars, Star Spangled Blue. People can track how well their pick is doing through real-time voting results on Crayola's website.

"The company unveiled the top five fan-chosen names for the crayon, which is inspired by the blue pigment known as "YInMn" blue", on Friday.

Fans waxed nostalgic when Crayola announced in March that the yellowish dandelion, introduced in 1990, would be pulled from its rainbow of colors.

We understand these are all very bad names, but please just cast your vote from July 1 to August 31 so we can end this thing.

Daily prizes will be awarded to those who vote, and all entries qualify for a grand prize of a four-person trip to the Crayola Experience attraction in Orlando. In 2009 a graduate student at Oregon State University named Andrew Smith accidentally discovered the brilliant color while researching materials for high-efficiency electronics applications. It contains the elements Yttrium, Indium, Manganese, and Oxygen.

According to the company, 90,000 people submitted name suggestions in the first round of the naming contest.
