On a related note, the same report said Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton (D), who's been rumored as a possible Senate candidate, has signaled an interest in running for Sinema's U.S. House seat.

Kyrsten Sinema is eying a Senate bid, according to a new report, in a move that would give Democrats a top recruit in the race to unseat Republican Sen.

"I've heard from many Arizonans encouraging me to run for the United States Senate". It is something I am seriously considering. "When I make any decisions, Arizonans will be the first to know", Sinema said in a statement early Friday. Her moderate stances may play well in Arizona, an incipient swing state that still leans Republican. He served as chief operating officer for Trump's campaign. He was critical of President Donald Trump during the campaign and his recent book, "Conscience of a Conservative" took the GOP to task over Trump's rise to the White House.

But, as many have noticed, Flake's noble rhetoric doesn't exactly align with his actions, which have included confirming Trump nominees whose philosophies seem directly opposed to his.

Yet despite his acquiescence to nearly all of the Trump agenda, Flake has drawn plenty of flak from his right. John McCain in 2016. Last week, she assailed Flake in the pages of USA Today for aligning himself with the "radical left". Have fun next year, Jeff!
