His inclusion however could prove divisive considering his background as a dancer, and even being a judge on Sky 1 talent show Got To Dance.

If the rumours about the latest Strictly Come Dancing signing are true, there's going to be some raised eyebrows in the glittery studio.

Speaking to The Sun, a source said: 'It doesn't have to be ballroom or Latin dancing experience to give someone an edge.

"Aston spent years being choreographer in JLS and that rhythm and ability to follow instructions puts him streets ahead of competitors".

He wouldn't be the first "Strictly" star to have previously had some form of dance training and last year's finalist Danny Mac also found himself receiving attention when it was revealed he'd had professional training years before signing up.

Right now the BBC has so far confirmed five names for the Strictly Come Dancing 2017 line up.

Alongside those confirmed, rumoured celebs for the new series include comic Brian Conley, Good Morning Britain presenter Charlotte Hawkins, Gogglebox stars Steph and Dom Parker, Olympic gymnast Max Whitlock, Robot Wars host Angela Scanlon, Bros singer Matt Goss and marathon runner Paula Radcliffe.
