This time, Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer "Babumoshai Bandookbaaz" has come under the censor board scanner as it has suggested a massive number of 48 cuts before the movie would be certified. On the other hand Kushan Nandy (Director of the film) has approached Film Certification Appellate Tribunal (FCAT) saying that censors board ordered the cuts despite of an A certificate because they can't ensure if kids won't watch this film in cinema at all. And sadly, the latter has happened. "They (CBFC) told us that we have given 48 cuts in the film", Kiran said.

The film's producer, Kiran Shroff, also alleged that the CBFC members misbehaved with her, even questioning her gender identity.

IFTADA has registered the complaint and will have a meeting regarding this on Wednesday.

An 18 member team of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) is divided on issuing any certificate to Jayan Cherian's Malayalam film Ka Bodyscapes, that revolves around homosexuality, after the fourth screening of the film in the past one year.

Reacting to the proposed cuts in the film, the CBFC chief Pahalaj Nihlani said: "That's our job as per rule". Yet, we have been asked to remove certain (cuss) words from the dialogues of a contract killer.

Well, the movie has been in news for all the wrong reasons.

Kiran was ridiculed for making "such a film" because a movie like "Babumoshai Bandookbaaz" was not expected from a "woman".

The teaser and first song release of Babumoshai Bandookbaaz have generated plenty of praise already as the chemistry between Nawaz and Bidita Bag is electric.

While nine members agreed to pass the film with a few cuts, the rest disagreed, according to a Mid-Day report.
