According to a Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office report, Lerma was stopped while driving south on Haverhill Road near Belvedere Road about 4:15 p.m.

When deputies pulled Lerma over, there was a strong smell of alcohol coming from the auto and an unrestrained 3-year-old in the backseat, police said.

A responding deputy said there was a strong smell of alcohol coming from Lerma's vehicle and a 3-year-old child standing in the back seat.

An arrest report for 31-year-old Brandy Lerma says a tow truck driver saw her driving a gold Chevrolet Malibu Saturday afternoon in Boynton Beach. When she was pulled over, police say they smelled alcohol in the auto, and that Lerma had slurred speech and could not find her license, despite it being in plain view of the officer who pulled her over, per CBS 12.

Lerma took two breathalyzer tests, both of which showed a blood alcohol content more than twice Florida's legal limit of.08.

Lerma told deputies that she had two Fireball shots and had taken Percocet and Xanax.

According to jail records, Lerma has been released on $3,000 bond.
