Makarfi said this on Saturday at the party's non-elective national convention in Abuja.

But the perennial popularity seeking Ekiti governor, Ayo Fayose will not allow the zoning arrangement hold him back as he stormed the Eagle Square, Abuja venue of PDP National Convention dressed in vest announcing his interest in being the next occupier of Aso Rock presidential villa.

The Ekiti State Governor and Chairman of PDP Governors Forum, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, has said that those who are now in Aso Rock under the All Progressives Congress (APC) Government "are people who don't know what they are doing there", and be ready for total defeat at the 2019 elections.

The governor, who said "Nigerians have entered one chance" with the Muhammadu Buhari administration, further congratulated the PDP as the APC, according him, had lost its glory.

Governor Fayose also said that the Peoples' Democratic Party "has bounced back fully to life and is going straight back to the Aso villa come 2019 elections".

Speaking prophetically and confidently, Governor Fayose who had earlier launched his Presidential campaign revealed that he will return to the Federal Capital Territory by 2019.

"PDP will take Nigeria out of one chance and give it plenty chances". God will be with us. "My own won't be this change that has brought nothing, we are going to represent the people well and tell them the truth", Fayose had said. "Those people there, at Aso Rock, they don't know what they are doing". We make mistakes but our ability to correct them is what is important.

"I want to congratulate our great party and to assure Nigerians that we are going to deliver them from all they are passing through", said Fayose.
