Graham Phillips is heading to Riverdale!

Phillips is set to appear for two episodes, but his character's time on the show should definitely throw the residents of Riverdale for a loop.

"Nick is an old classmate of Veronica's from NY", showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa explains, "and despite his parent-pleasing veneer, he is a wolf in sheep's clothing: a hard-partying Lothario with dark desires and an unchecked sense of privilege". "His arrival in Riverdale will threaten Archie's relationship with Veronica, and may even put some of our favorite characters at risk".

"A new love-triangle in #Riverdale?"

The season 2 trailer has already teased a bit of this, with Archie standing watch by his house's doorway with a baseball bat, nervously awaiting a potential intrusion from the black-hooded gunman who shot his dad in the season 1 finale. As such, we have a feeling that his fragile relationship with Veronica may not survive anthey pressure and tension that Nick brings when he arrives in town. She's also been quite honest about the fact that she's seen moving to Riverdale as an opportunity to turn over a new leaf.

Returning October 11 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW, Riverdale stars K.J. Apa as Archie Andrews, Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper, Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge, Cole Sprouse as Jughead Jones, Madelaine Petsch as Cheryl Blossom, Ashleigh Murray as Josie McCoy and Casey Cott as Kevin Keller.
