Left tackle Isaiah Wynn, who has been out of practice all week with what coach Kirby Smart has described as an illness, missed the Bulldogs' first of three scrimmages.

Without Wynn, Georgia, at least during the media viewing period, showed a starting offensive line of left tackle Dyshon Sims, left guard Andrew Thomas, center Lamont Gaillard, right guard Solomon Kindley and right tackle Ben Cleveland. "When he's in there, we're a better unit". Wynn moved to left tackle during the spring after starting 11 of 13 games at left guard.

Ledbetter started four games last season after he returned to play in seven games overall following a six-game suspension. He had 24 tackles, a sack and five quarterback pressures in his abbreviated season.
