Director Zack Snyder stepped off of the film after a family tragedy, with Batgirl director Joss Whedon stepping in to finish the project. Now one of the cast has revealed that the reshoots are meant to lighten the film's tone. However, he spoke about Fisher's Victor/Cyborg. He said, "I know that with Ray [Fisher], the young man who plays Victor, there were some adjustments that they made in terms of the tone of that character".

He added, "I think what I heard was that there was a need from the studio to lighten up the film in a way, that the film felt too dark".

Justice League actor Joe Morton has opened up about his role in the upcoming superhero team-up epic.

"I've never worked on a movie that didn't do reshoots", Affleck says.

Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman, Ezra Miller as Barry Allen/The Flash, Ray Fisher as Victor Stone/Cyborg, Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman, Ciaran Hinds as Steppenwolf, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Amber Heard as Mera, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner James Gordon, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat.

Much has been made about the choice of tone in the DC Extended Universe, with Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad skewing darker, while Wonder Woman moved in the opposite direction. Filmmaker Joss Whedon is directing the additional photography for the sequel and is overseeing the completion of its post production following Snyder's family tragedy.

Justice League's reshoots have been the subject of quite a lot of discussion, with the cast playing down rumors that the reportedly $25 million reshoots are making significant changes to the story or tone. What are your thoughts on Morton's words about Cyborg's tone change?
