Leicester City captain Wes Morgan says that he can not wait to play alongside new Foxes teammate Kelechi Iheanacho this season.

Iheanacho last week joined Leicester City who splashed £25million to get him from Manchester City.

Shakespeare told Leicester Mercury that the 20-year-old will be eased into the Foxes squad due to his "broken pre-season" at his previous club.

"They can play together, most definitely".

"You've seen how they linked up, and good players can".

"You would probably think he might take that chance himself, but to spot Jamie, to play that in with the weight of pass he did for Jamie to finish it, it shows his awareness and his unselfishness".

"He gives us another dimension".

"He's a very, very good player", Morgan told Sky Sport. He popped up with some great goals from impossible positions, which is refreshing. "I think he'll come and do a great job for us".

Iheanacho returned to training on Tuesday after recovering from his knock and Morgan is looking forward to playing alongside the Nigeria worldwide when Leicester take on Arsenal in the opening game of the new Premier League season on Friday, live on Sky Sports.
