Rookie running back Leonard Fournette was held out of practice Sunday with what Jacksonville Jaguars coach Doug Marrone described as a foot injury, and he may sit out all week. But he watched Monday's joint practice between the Jaguars and Tampa Bay from the sideline and he wasn't on crutches or wore a protective boot.

Marrone says "we're just being smart on it. ..."

"It's the same as it was yesterday", Marrone said. Like I said before I'm not going to try to tell you guys so every day. But when Fournette complained of soreness after Saturday's practice, the team made a decision to hold him out of Sunday's practice. The fourth overall pick in the National Football League draft attended practice Monday, but wasn't wearing pads and didn't do any work.

Fournette made his National Football League debut against the New England Patriots on Thursday, rushing nine times for 31 yards and a score, and he wasn't intimidated by the National Football League level of play. "If it puts anything in jeopardy for a longer ordeal, because we'll get him back, then I would probably hold him". Marrone said the injury was more of a nagging issue. Generally, it takes about four-six weeks for an ankle sprain to heal at minimum, so Lee returning by week one isn't out of the question, but it isn't likely.
