Neymar put together a fantastic debut for PSG debut, scoring a goal and dishing out an assist in a 3-0 win against Guingamp in Ligue 1 action on Sunday.

The world's most expensive player was allowed to take to the pitch at the Stade de Roudourou after the French Football Federation confirmed they had received the relevant paperwork for the £199million signing.

The Parisians bossed the game in the opening stages but were unable to make the most of their early possession, although the away fans were still happy enough to see Neymar producing plenty of flicks and skill, even if it lacked an end product.

Ikoko's 52 minutes own goal had given PSG the lead, while Cavani scored the second goal in the 62nd minute of the match.

Inevitably all eyes were on the Brazilian, whose first contribution was to loft an ambitious pass from deep towards the run of Di Maria which proved just too heavy.

The first notice of Neymar's threat was served five minutes later as he jinked inside on his right foot before blasting over from 20 yards, and he nearly created the opener as his teasing cross was thumped against the angle of post and crossbar by an unmarked Marquinhos.

The visitors turned on the pressure after going ahead and made it 2-0 just 10 minutes later, Neymar making his first real impact for the club after breaking from his own half and playing an inch-perfect ball through for Cavani, who duly fired home. Cavani returned the favour for Neymar late on, selflessly teeing up the former Barca man to poke home the first of what looks likely to be many goals for Paris (82').
